Scary Situation At South Jersey ShopRite Ends With 1 In Custody

A possible hostage situation shut a New Jersey ShopRite on Saturday night, Oct. 12, 6abc reports.

Barrington police said only that the incident happened at Lawnside (Camden County) ShopRite where one person was arrested and multiple agencies were at the scene.

6abc said the incident was a reported hostage situation and began unfolding around 7 a.m.
